Founded in 1923, the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce is the largest chamber in North County San Diego and the second-largest chamber in San Diego County. A non-profit with 1,100+ member businesses, the Chamber represents five key industries — Life Sciences, Action Sports Manufacturing, Clean Technology, Information & Communications Technology, and Hospitality & Leisure — and acts as a regional economic catalyst, leadership convener and community champion. It publishes the Carlsbad Business Journal.
